nbc 10's matt delucia live at the courthouse in morristown where a former prosecutor is expected to beosby's key witness. walk us through this, matt. >> reporter: tracy, media outlets from around the country are here waiting for bill cosby's arrival later on. what happens today could mark the end of the criminal case against him. it comes down to a supposed agreement between then d.a. bruce caster and cosby. back in 2005 caster promised not to prosecute him in exchange for a deposition. in that deposition, cosby admitted to giving a woman quaaludes before engaging in sexual contact with her. the district attorney kevin steele filed charges last month. at issue is whether or not that alleged agreement holds up. as far as anyone knows, it is not no writing and there was no court order. bruce caster is expected to take the stand to testify about that agreement, if there was one, what was said. but defense attorney bill brennan does not represent cosby. he has been following this case closely. than having the district ter attorney at the time say, i made a deal and it should be honored. th
