moyer, we would not have been able to get the america's cup to san francisco. it is a very important place, and it is a place where we need financial acumen, someone with financial acumen, who is smart, who understands real estate interests and where san francisco could go in the future. i will be supporting both mr. kim and ms. katz. supervisor mar: i just wanted to thank mr. kim for the service on the retirement board and the breadth of experience to bring. a lot of the community activities have been since 2009. you have been more active on different boards with the symphony and the asian art museum. i do not feel the spark of why you want to be on the port commission. that is one of the gut level reactions i have. the mayor sought you out, and i think you are fitting nicely -- a lot of your great qualities and experience you would bring. but i just cannot feel that enthusiasm and spark to serve on, as supervisor campos mentioned, the critical time in the port commission. i will support your leadership in the future, but i will move that we continue this item

off the assembly lines, we had a very successful event, of which the mayor attended, deputy director moyer. we had many members of the media at 10, and in the backdrop, it was interesting because that was your shoreside tower component. in the forefront, we had our electric vehicles and electric vehicle charging stations. again, this is not a mandated program, but this was a public/private partnership. our company provided the equipment, and the port provided the installation. so what did the future have in store for parking? it may not be a glamorous component to the court -- to the port's daily activities, but we believe expanding the charging station will make it the most accessible parking area for electric vehicles in the city. we also believe we will be working closely with staff as well as the america's cup organizing committee to make your parking and transportation management seamless. finally, we are working closely with car share for writers in the city to expand accessibility and car share hods. in conclusion, the profitability, the accessibility, and the environmental stewards

there is the city staff, carry mcclellan, jennifer mattes, brad benson, monique moyer. the port has been remarkable. i would say the former port commissioner, we have great assets at the port of san francisco, but they are slowly starting to fall into the water. as we have seen with pierre 30/32, it has the shelf life of another, i think, 10 years. without some kind of revitalization, we could lose this asset. it is the same as you go down the port of sand and cisco. the america's cup gives us a great opportunity to rebuild that, to bring economic not just viability but a thriving economic community back to san francisco bay, so i would like to thank everyone who has been part of that. i would be remiss without thanking mark buell, who is heading the acoc, and also lucy, one of my constituents, a jewel to san francisco, who has been active on and all of the past america's cups and actually won it for the united states way back when, so i think it is important for us to recognize the people that are citizens of san francisco have done so much for the america's cup histor
