[laughter] reporter: congressman crenshaw, thank you for taking the question. what was your reaction to seeing taliban use american military and what kind of threat does that represent? is there enough that is operable that could be used by other parties outside afghanistan, or to raise money for the taliban if they choose to sell it? rep. crenshaw: the feeling everybody gets is disgrace, embarrassment, anger, that we allowed this to happen. it is worth noting, the administration knew, whether the intelligence assessment is two days, six months, it was definitive that the taliban would take over and therefore take over that equipment we left for afghan allies. they went through with this plant knowing that. it is really important point. what are they going to do with this equipment? some of it they cannot operate. they had the gun to the head of the afghan army pilots flying helicopters. but they can sell these things to iran, make a lot of money off of them. weapons come they can continue to operate those. one of the biggest advantages in special operations on

mr. speaker, we've seen a lot of foreign policy issues over the years but never seen bought quite as badly the taliban for their word trying to stick to this firm deadline. i don't see the urgency and i've not seen the urgency i would like to see of an american president with americans caught behind enemy lines and how they got in that situation is in and of itself a dereliction of duty. how do you handle it from here? >> i think you have to assume that joe biden is joe biden. he ran as an antiwar candidate in 1972, he has always opposed american interventionism, for a week america withdrawing from its innocent ohmic enemies. we need to be clear, he has surrendered to the taliban. it not only controls afghanistan, the taliban controls the biden administration's ability to do anything in afghanistan and i suspect they are not going to break their word because they're going to say any real effort to do more than the taliban will lead to a sudden explosion and requirement for a large number of americans and that's not where joe biden is going. i think if he has to sacrifice 5,000 americans an
