it is part of our mta chart mandate. we align our regulations with the city's policy framework and they're very well developed guiding principles in the office of technology. the reports, mta and the transportation authority also have approved guiding principles which include many of the same elements. it's all very important for us. we have a number of existing regulated mobility programs already under mta's umbrella. we have bike share, powered scooter share program, private transit vehicle programs. we have the regulatory frameworks set up for that. there is no provider currently in that space that the chariot wasn't permitted under the permit program. we have commuter shuttles there on street vehicle share and shared electric mopeds. today what is before you is what we are calling phase one of our permit harmonization. part of that is to bring a request to the board of supervisors to amend the vision one of the transportation code to do two things. basically to expand the parking restrictions that previously have bee

hyde street safety project and this is a funding request to match a cal-train grant awarded to the mta to do planning and engagement on hyde street between grove and ofarrell. they have different community organizations to figure out some conceptionual designs and some recommended improvements to really enhance the street, enhancing pedestrian safety and also really just transforming the street into a complete street effort and so final report would be expected in about two years. and the last request is an appropriation request from the transportation authority for the carpool and express lane environmental phase one. and a bit of background on this request. in late 2018, the board approved the corridor study report and a prop k senator b one partnership fund exchange for this project. this fund exchange approved $6 million in sb1 partnership funds for street resurfacing exexchange for 4.1k for the props. we didn't programme them because of the uncertainty of prop six which would have funded the fund program. prop 6 was defeated and in now this project is ready to start the environmen
