meteorologist david murphy outside on the terrace enjoying the sunshine, a nice way to start off the workweek. >> reporter: no kidding, as you mentioned we have lots of sunshine in place. i want to start you with satellite. you can see how occasionally there's been high clouds trying to streak through and a little bit more than that in harrisburg, that's high and thin enough where we could get sunshine through. while we could cloud up earlier in the day, we could maintain mostly sunny skies most of the way. 69 degrees is the temperature in philadelphia. down the to the south in washington we have 74 on the map there. notice how the wind is coming up from the south. we expect to add quite a few more degrees to the currents temperature before we are done. the wind is not all that strong, but a nice solid ten mile an hour wind drawing in the milder air to the south that you just saw. that will be the pattern for the rest of the day overnight and tomorrow and this little why we're seeing a couple of days with nice highs. 77 degrees by 2:00 p.m. we'll jump up to 81 degrees at 4:00 p.m. if
