what do we know, nannette? >> reporter: it's really no surprise that raymond "shrimp boy" chow has pleaded not guilty to the newest of charge, the racketeering charge. his attorney says chow now faces more than 200 counts and that he's not guilty of any of them. the always-colorful, tony sarah says there's no evidence that chow did any of the crimes related to the san francisco corruption case that netted more than two dozen arrests earlier this year. he suggests that that means the federal government case is weak. at the guidance of prosecutors, sarah says the grand jury would indict a ham sandwich on what they have and a bunch of charges are being brought to see what sticks. chow has been a chinatown gang leader since 2006, trafficking guns, drugs, and stolen guns, and laundering money, the d.a. says. sarah says all of it is false, that shrimp boy has turned his life around. >> he's dying to testify! he's going to testify! we're not going to hide behind any fifth amendment! he's denying to tell, you know, the

nbc bay area's nannette miranda is live in oakland with the very latest. nannette, let's start, i assume, no bomb. >> reporter: yeah, police did not find any bombs, luckily, but it found more than an hour to find out there wasn't one delaying passengers in the heart of the morning commute. b.a.r.t. says the mess began when someone heard secondhand about a bomb threat. that person who overheard it called 911 and it forced the immediate shut down of the oakland coliseum b.a.r.t. station around 7:40 a.m. no one in or out of the station. no trains passing through. jean england just flew in from l.a. and was trying to catch a bus to the coliseum station. >> they tell me there's a bomb threat, so the no buses and everything was secured here, so we were unable to come to the b.a.r.t. station. >> reporter: authorities brought in bomb-sniffing dogs to make sure there really wasn't a bomb. they have to take such threats seriously. in the meantime, b.a.r.t. was trying to provide bus bridge services, which caused confusion to some morning commuters. >> we're waiting.

"today in the bay's" nannette miranda joins us live outside the airport this morning.t do you know so far? >> reporter: we know that authorities detained a 60-year-old man who is accused of setting a fire inside terminal one baggage claim. here's video we shot just a few minutes ago. apparently the card board has already been hauled outside the terminal, but the smell still lingers inside. these are very large piece of card board. oakland airport spokesman brian kid says an alert tsa agent spotted the incident around 3:30 this morning, and immediately called the alameda county sheriff's office. it appears the fire was put out quickly, no injuries have been reported and no motive at this point. if you are trying to catch a flight this morning. no equipment, no flights, or passengers have been impacted. the lines are now starting to get pretty long here at the screening area. back live here at the airport, a 60-year-old man has been detained for setting fire inside the terminal one baggage claim. it appears that the airport is back to normal. live at oakland internationa
