good evening i'm natasha brown thanks for joining us. more than a hundred septa cars are now out of service as structural defect were found. eyewitness news reporter joe holden cecity's commute could be rough for rail riders. >> reporter: just after midnight friday septa officials say an inspector note sister silver liner rail car was leaning. the problem more serious than first thought. cracks were found. >> this is an all hands on deck situation for september t we understand the profound ways in which this will adversely affect our loyal riders: at a rare holiday weekend news conference septa manager details actions. all silver liner fives were taken out of service. make up about a third of septa's entire regional rail fleet. >> with one third of our fleet out of service, however, tuesday is the challenge. and unfortunately, it will be rough on our railroad customers. >> reporter: 95 of 100 silver liner cars inspected were found to have a crack in a part of the suspension system. we asked the worse case scenario if left un addressed. >

good evening, i'm natasha brown. thanks for joining us.lash flood warnings are in effect as we speak. let's get right over to meteorologist lauren casey in our weather center with more on this dangerous weather. lauren. >> thanks, not shah. yeah, scary situation in parts of mercer county as we have been dealing with steady rainfall and rainfall that is heavy at times leading to that flash flood event ongoing right now. storm scan3 showing us most of the activity in and along the i-95 corridor and points westward. rainfall intensity is starting to pick up. this sloop three hours long so you can see that rain coming down steadily throughout that loop, time frame so we're just piling up the rain at this point. this is mercer county right here. the rain continuing to fall and the intensity starting to pick up a little bit in trenton up into the princeton area where we have seen that flooding. so far rainfall totals in the last three hours around parts of mercer county up to five plus inches of rainfall and our doppler estimates that's why we h

i'm natasha brown. thanks for joining us. flash flood warnings are in effect for parts of the area. let's get over to lauren casey in our weather center with the latest on the track of these storms. lauren. >> thanks, natasha. we do have a newly issued flash flood warning in effect now for parts of burlington and atlantic county. this until 2:45 overnight tonight. we a standing flash flood warning for millard and camden county and bowlington county. we have a cluster of thunderstorms that are stagnant over parts of south jersey. you can see some of the towns included in the flash flood warning including bowlen, waterford, and also the secondary warning now includes carver city and cape may as well. we have been dealing with the heavy rainfall that's clustered and sat there for a period of hours. check out some of the doppler radar estimates. this is the past six hours. most of the rain fell in the last three to four hours. you have the bull's-eye indicating five inches of rainfall. this areas picking up three inches of rainfall across parts of camden county. it only takes about six
