same thing for nathan chen. i mean, men's figure skating is about the jumps, right?s been dominant, landing quad after quad after quad. but it was not to be yesterday for the second straight time in these olympic games, skating his short program, nathan chen just couldn't pull it off. three jumps where he could not land. he ends up in 17th. everybody else would have to tank for him to have a shot at the podium. adam rippon could if the others don't do well in the long program possibly finish up ahead. then there is lindsey vonn, right? hard to believe she's been away from the olympics for eight years now. sochi, of course, she was nursing an injury and didn't compete at all. the most decorated female skier of all time will hit the slopes again in the super g at 33 years old. the old lady of the competition, if you can believe that. she talked earlier about what it means to go up against those young kids. >> doesn't intimidate you, does it? >> oh, no, no. i feel like at my age, i have a lot more experience. i've been through this a few times. i've already won olympic
