i studied it in the naval academy but the vocabulary i developed in the navy was not suitable to the audience. [laughter] i tried to think of a story that would illustrate the point. i got out of a white house, involuntarily retired -- [laughter] -- i was invited to japan to make a speech. without a fee, they might add.
