so you're probably getting the alerts from our nbc bay area app. you've seen it on our web page as well. excessive heat watch for the entire bay area community. right now the coast 70s to 80s. near the bay 80s to 90s. inland, 100 to 110. at this point it doesn't look like any major wind. so we have to remember to drink plenty of water. also, don't forget the pets. hot car danger. you know, parked car with the windows up can go as hot as 150 degrees. so check twice before you leave anyone or anything in it. that of course is very important to you. right here in concord, we get up to 108 on monday. that's the new change. it looks like labor day will be the hottest day in the event. it will last four days. and after that, will slide down. my next thursday will be in the low 90s. right here in san francisco we do have some 80s back with us saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday with this heatwave. and you'll see through the inland valleys, we do go up to 99 thursday. but the heatwave officially starts on saturday when it does get dangerous for us. >> a lo
