congress. i know he served in the senate for two years. he came in just as i was retiring. voluntarily, i might add. nd i complimented him. all members of congress, members of the house and the president, when they are sworn in, they take an oath to uphold the constitution. and i am absolutely flabbergasted at some of the comments and some of the statements that our president, who sometimes says he's a constitutional scholar, makes in just grossly voy lating the constitution. grossly. the constitution, article one of the constitution says basically congress shall make all laws. all legislative powers are granted to the house and the senate. all legislative powers. the only exception to that is in the 10th amendment which basically gives all other legislative powers to the states and to the people. but all legislative powers on the federal side are delegated to the house and to the senate. and then reserved to the states and to the people. it doesn't say, mr. president, you don't like the fact that congress hasn't legislated on immigration, you go ahead and do it anyway, and then maybe hope that congress is going to address
