harris is plus one with latinos in nevada in our poll. but according to the 2020 exit polls, biden won them by 26 percentage points. that if that act actually is what emerges on election day, that's a big warning sign in nevada for the harris campaign. and i will just note here we are seeing the gender gap again. it's more extreme to both ends in arizona, harris, winning women by 16 points, trump men by 14 points in arizona women are going for harris by five points in nevada, trump getting men by seven points. you see a sort of equal distance from the middle, but much greater on both ends in arizona, one of the things that you are one of the many things that you are so good at explaining to us and to our viewers is what's behind some of these top-line numbers? >> yes. so i'm looking at a few things. there are other things on the ballot in arizona, you know, there's an abortion referendum and we took a look at that and i was looking here to see so among likely voters overall, 60% say they support the referendum of abortion in arizona. 93%

nevada has many service workers .idential candidates have embraced the idea of eliminating taxes on tips. housing prices are on the rise as new residents arrive in your state from other parts of the country. you have proposed new rules for corporations buying residential real estate. how do you see these pocketbook issues playing into who voters choose in just nine days? >> well, i think it's really top of mind for everyone. there's a few parts to it, and i think you're exactly right. a look at the choice we have, they look at what we've done the last few years. the investments we've made in the hospitality industry, in our broadband, our roads, or public safety. we brought billions of dollars to nevada. to create programs for affordable housing, the savanna program, 500 million. they see the investments we've made, and they understand what we still have to fight for, which is a corporate greed, the oil -- big oil -- and the grocery stores, and the housing costs. we do have bills for that. when it comes to taxes on ti

congresswoman dina titus of nevada. thanks so much for your time.eciate it thank you all right. just days ahead of the election, the supreme court has issued a very big ruling allowing virginia to purge alleged noncitizens from its voter rolls. cnn, chief supreme court analyst joan good book joins me now. joan, i mean, this is i mean, this is remarkable on a couple of levels. won just the substance of the case, but the supreme court to hand down this kind of a decision six days before the election. i have to think that is going to raise some eyebrows. >> well, the supreme court is in it now, jim and there they're looking as divided as ever because the three dissenters from today's ruling are the three liberals. you know that this court is controlled by a conservative super majority. what the justices did just in the last hour, jim was clear the way for virginia officials to purge certain people from the voting roles now will only involve an estimated 1,600 people at this point. but what it does is potentially compromise federal law that says that th

well, it's worked in nevada, but nevada, the size of like san mateo county, right. and it's arguably more fun. yeah, well, a lot more fun. sorry, but like nevada, nevada, determined by clark county and the culinary union, which harry reid kind built up. and there was really tension. they didn't want a lot of the latinos in the union, which is not uncommon with unions. they don't want immigrants specifically because they drive down the price of labor and competition. but once accepted that, you know, over half of the culinary now is latino and i talk about this in the book and it has brought pretty consistent since the harry reid era and it made what should demographically kind of a republican state a i don't say reliably because nevada, the one swing state that is more republican, all the others demographically have been moving towards toward a more bluer position. nevada has actually for the past three election cycles become more. and so they're they're holding on to it by margins. but let's talk about unions generally really quickly, latinos have the lowest unioni

and you see it nearly dead even in nevada. now anderson, i want to compare where harris stands with the latino vote in these two states to what joe biden did in the exit polls in the 2020 and the election. take a look that 18 percentage point lead in our poll, and that's a poll different from the exit polls of actual voters four years ago four years ago, joe biden won latino voters in nevada by 24 points in arizona, sorry, in nevada, harris near tied with latino voters with trump right now in our poll, biden won latino voters in nevada by 26 points in the election four years ago. so there's clearly been a narrowing of the gap here that trump has produced thus far. if these polls are where the election turns out next week so with early voting underway in arizona. >> and by the way, those polls, i assume we're the taken before the rally comments whether or not the rally oh, big impact. >> yeah. good question, anderson, the surveys were basically completed by the time that the msg rally took place. >> and with early voting underw
