monmouth county. that's where "eyewitness news" reporter alexandria huff joins us now. od afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon. investigators with the monmouth county fire marshals office have been on scene all morning and it's one of those stories that only seems to get devastating as time goes on. originally we knew four people including two children died due to injuries sustained inside of this home on julie avenue in long branch. the county prosecutors office now says that all of those people showed signs of injuries unrelated to the fire. the fire itself does not appear accidental. they are also dabbling with the possibility that this could have been a murder/suicide. now crews were called here late last night. but were unable to reach the second floor where all four were. those victims have been identified 35-year-old linda, 29-year-old amanda morris and children brandon and brian. who are seven and four years o old. a witness describes to us this desperate attempts to try and reach this young family. >> we were trying to knock the door down and trying to get in
