a driver slammed into a utility pole knocking out power to 1600 peco customers right when the temperatures fall. "action news" reporter katherine scott is along dunkin road where crews worked to restore power. >> reporter: there are several customers without power, the good news most of the customers had their power restored overnight, that's good news given the temperatures, they have plunged. yesterday in the 50s, this morning it's a different story. right now in burholme you can see peco crews are working where the accident occurred last night. the driver lost control and hit a utility pole. the wires came down, power was knocked out, the driver was injured, but was taken to the hospital in stable condition. peco was called to the scene and they are back again this morning. 1600 customers were without power and the crews worked hoping to have it all back on by the time most everyone woke up. again, most power was restored to most people overnights, and though, there's several people in the area that remain without power. it was a cold night, windchills made it feel colder. it was a bad time to lose your p
