it talks about mosby and her husband, nick mosby, a council member who is in charge of the district where freddie gray was killed. the motion is basically that she is giving him a political advantage and getting political gain all of the fact that he charged people because people in his district were chanting that and wanting the charges to go forward against the officers and that she has a personal relationship with potential witnesses that her office also took part in investigating the case against the six officers. and there is also this pending civil lawsuit against her department and her office that was talked about. and lastly there is -- and this came up again before with the police union that she and her husband have a close friendship with the attorney representing gray's family. and that he served as her lawyer at some point saying that is a huge conflict of interest. we asked her about some of the accusations because they were brought up by the police union last week and here is what she said about the accusations that she couldn't be fair and all of these conflicts of interest

called into question as a potential special investigator is suggested is because she's married to nick mosbylman who represents west baltimore and parts of freddie gray's district. i think there is some concern there, right? i think in fairness that the tables were flipped and it was the reverse. bob it is not mentioned in the same sort of breath that marilyn mosby's father and grandfather were police officers. so that would seem to sort of balance out maybe the sort of potential conflict of interests. >>. >> the thing about the conflict of interest and the reason why people aren't so focused on it or at least not everyone is, is that it is so unusual for a police officer to -- or police officers to base any kind of sanction. it's so unusual and runs so counter to the incentives that prosecutors usually face that it just doesn't seem like it would be a conflict of interest even though her husband is in the city council, even though we know she's from the community. it does not seem like it's something that should alarm people. there's really no reason for a prosecutor to be out to get cops.

is also nick mosby is a councilman over the districthis constituents wanted to see this and going forward, trying to get a conviction would help him politically. there's also an allegation about her relationship with the attorney that is now representing the gray family and who will be representing the gray family throughout this case. there's also an allegation about her relationship potential relationship with potential witnesses in this case a civil lawsuit that has gone up against her department. so there are a lot of things being talked about. but this is a typical thing that a good defense attorney's going to do they're going to look at this trying to get her to be pulled off of this case saying it's a political powder keg. we'll have to see what happens. it's 109-page document that's been submitted to the courts and obviously she's going to have to respond or her department is going to have to response. he's already responded to i a couple of these, allegation she's too close to the attorney that's representing the gray family an

let's talk about marilyn mosby's husband. his name is nick. he's a city councilman in baltimore. he represents the areas of baltimore that were on fire. he did dissuade a number of police officers to pull back a couple of blocks. at her press conference on friday morning, she said he creates laws and i enforce the laws. but, still, at the same time, when your husband is a politician you just wonder. >> well and he's a very volatile figure. it's not as if he's a benign city councilman. he has an aggression racial view of things. he's been all over television pronouncing his views. he's spoken at various rallies. he's a fire brand kind of guy. he's married to who? the prosecutor. what must that pillow talk sound like? >> no kidding. also let's talk about one of the big donors to her campaign a family who also happens to be the gray's family attorney. his name is billy murphy. he donated $5,000 to her campaign. which was the maximum under maryland law. he served on her transition committee. so if there's anybody who want to make sure does well it's the guy who is on -- you know who

rioting in baltimore, the death of another young black men in police custody, nick gas reports baltimore state attorney marilyn mosby reported the death of 25-year-old freddie gray has been ruled a homicide and criminal charges will be filed against six police officers involved in his april 12th slain. officers failed to establish probable cause for great's arrest and further acted in an unlawful manner when transporting grain in a police van. there was also the associated press report, the baltimore police officers' union says six office is charged in the investigation are not responsible for his death. fraternal order of police lodge president jean ryan commented tragic as the situation is, none of the officers involved are responsible for the death of mr. gray. to the contrary at all times each of the officers diligently balance their obligations to protect mr. gray and discharge their duties to protect the public. also among those commenting on the situation in baltimore, former florida governor in 2016 republican presidential candidate jeb bush, here's what he had to say yesterday. >> important to reflect on th
