supervisor breed, david chiu, supervisor cohen, supervisor kim and supervisor norman yee. this is a great backing for this ordinance that i believe needs to show that we have strong support for it. the due process for our ordinance is one that has been months perhaps years in the making. it is to assert our local jurisdiction for supporting our immigrant community against f com, the secured communities program and named secure communities program which under the federal government has deported thousands and thousands of people across the country and many people here in san francisco. overall this legislation is to assure that our city is not going to be cooperating with the s-comprogram whose violations have played havoc with public safety here in san francisco. we want to make sure we're up holding our right, universal right, that's embedded in our constitution for due process ancy these things that is in the 14th amendment. we want to make sure that we separation in san francisco between our system and the federal immigration system and enforcement system under homeland

and also improve the safety of the bicycling in the city and i know that other supervisors, from norman yee to kim and others have really been key in that safety of bicycling in the city as well and so we are looking forward to that. and lastly, i wanted to just, again, say that in moving forward, with the bicycle coalition, something for everyone's safe and the other people's groups will keep hopefully this issue alive and the resolution, calls for annual hearings on the progress of bike theft. and it also acknowledges the work that has been done in the past few months on this city wide program and so thank you everyone and thank you so much and i urge support for the resolution. >> great, thank you, thank you very much. supervisor mar for introduces this resolution and again, your leadership on this issue and i certainly am very prod to be supportive and a co-sponsor of this and i also want to acknowledge that all of this work is being done in a way that the truly reaches every san franciscan and including, a lot of folks that speak different languages, and very culturally competent way i
