you look at a vote of two people i know them both, i really like norman he -- norman yee. i'm also a district five representative. i have also supported sandra lee fewer in district one because i think she is fabulous. and i have supported a number of others if you, including matt haney, and mandelman, and so on, but i think what we need now is exactly what laurie just described. we need leadership at a time when we need to move forward on a progressive agenda that has been so undermined by the likes of ron conway and willie brown, and others in this city. money and tech have done that, and the leadership in this city has been all too often compliance, or not resistant enough. i think it is pretty clear that hillary is willing to be that kind of leader, and it is a leadership role. as somebody who is a labor negotiator for 17 years, and i did to do a lot of hard bargaining, is always a question of not compromising the values and the important things that were required from members of the workforce is, and i think that she would also not compromise those, and would work wit

norman, thank you. norman smith. let us get the weather. here is chris fawkes., simon, this weather watcher picture shows you a beautiful canal with snow on the banks. this is taken from station road bridge, that is where i come from. the snow has been causing problems for manchester airport and liverpool airport, both runways were shut earlier and schools in the greater manchester area, summer, are closed. we have showers coming in from the irish sea. for most that stays dry with sunshine. a cold day coming up. showers for the south—west of england and showers for the highlands of scotland. there will be a mixture of sleet and snow mixed in as well. overnight tonight clear skies and it will be a very cold night, there could be mist and fog patches around but for many, it is the frost and eyes that is of more concern. temperatures in the towns and cities down to minus six celsius, colder in the countryside. more trouble on the way on thursday. an area of low pressure running into that cold here and obviously some snow again. targeting the south of england, wales
