that's more of a moderate rainfall coming down into parts of norristown, south coventry, chester heights, parts of philadelphia, stretching down into wilmington, all seeing a moderate to steady rainfall. it's moving up from the south and it will continue throughout the entire day, even heading into tonight. we'll see another round in the early-morning hours tomorrow and lingering rain showers even on christmas day. then the wind speeds are going to pick up, but colder air is on the way. here's a closer look at the dense fog, down to 1/4 miles in the poconos, 3 miles in philadelphia, 3 miles in mt. holly and our current temperature's at 49 degrees in atlantic city with rain coming down, 49 degrees in millville, 45 in pottstown and 47 in wilmington. today's high will be closer to 62 degrees. that's almost 20 degrees above our average. but as we head into tomorrow, we're going to see a falling high, which means temperatures are going to continue to drop throughout the day on christmas day. i'll let you know what to expect. i'll break down all the details coming up, but for now, we'll check

this is 202 mark lee street as you head into norristown.thbound come the headlights coming off the danne hower bridge heading into norristown. markley at main is the intersection and traffic is moving fine. a couple other issues to watch out for here in horsham getting word of police activity on jasper drive near lower state road. no issues so far this morning on the pennsylvania turnpike, speeds in the mid 60's there as you pass willow grove with no overnight construction. but 309 is still shut down in richland township so this is a good spot to avoid between tollgate and station roads. it's downed wires from an overnight crash involving a tractor-trailer that's causing the closure. maybe stay over on old bethlehem pike or even trumbauersville road as some possible alternates. if you're out and about in delaware so far this morning no major issues. of course we've got that ongoing construction that continues to close the ramp from the northbound side of 95 to 896 northbound. should be back opened by mid january when the u of d students hea

now, the warm air that you see changing things over to rain in norristown and malvern to the south is pushing toward the north but it's going to be a slow progression and up until about 7 o'clock in these eastern or excuse me southern most areas where you see the blue like bucks and montgomery and chester counties, up until about 6 or 7 o'clock this morning you have that chance of that icing to continue. up in the lehigh valley it could go a little bit beyond that. obviously some drying coming into wilmington, too, though, so won't be too much longer before we start to see things improve in some of those areas that are currently seeing rain. as we take a look outside we have right now sky 6, the camera bouncing and that's another issue that we're dealing with with this coastal storm passing us by today. not only is it rainy, not only is it a little icy up north but it's also very windy and that's a situation that's together to last well beyond the heavy rain. 38 degrees right now in philadelphia, 38 in wilmington, 34 in allentown, 35 degrees currently in trenton. some of these numbers
