they had 10 inches of rain in parts of north carolina over the past 24 hours. that's just way too much in that amount of time. we're talking about a little rain for us. we'll get into the amounts in a second. rain likely tomorrow dropping in from the north, the heaviest rain staying farther up the pacific coast and we salvage a dry weekend. so we get the best of all possible world here, a little rain and nice conditions over the weekend. there is the possibility a couple showers try to skirt through the north bay sunday. let's talk about tomorrow's rain and start futurecast at 6 a.m. with nothing happening. grab the umbrella on the way out the door. the first showers move into the north bay late morning and gradually drop farther south heading towards midday, widespread rain in the north bay early afternoon, but the first showers starting to cross the golden gate by early afternoon. the most widespread showers for the whole bay area will happen mid to late afternoon. we'll see rain in most parts of the bay area. becomes more scattered as it dives farther down t
