caddie and i were in north carolina over the weekend, mike bloomberg spent an awful lot of money in northre told at the time that this was a three—way between him, bloomberg and sanders. the result tonight suggest that he has had some enormous momentum from that win in south carolina and the results he's had? that's right, but when you look at the southern states, a high concentration of african—american voters who wa nt african—american voters who want to trade out for the former vice president, i want to trade out for the formervice president, ithink he will do well in the south. at 8pm we have 268 pledge delegates. will be interesting is to see when the vice president can have not only a firewall, but can build momentum based on the democratic demographics which are african—americans, people of colour and women. as people come out of the polling stations, they speak to pollsters and give them some indication of what has been important to them. interestingly, two thirds almost of people who voted have said that what is important to them is finding a candidate that can be donald trump. o

how important is north carolina for michael bloomberg? what, if any, states is he looking to try to pick up? >> yeah, this is a huge place for michael bloomberg. he opened his first field office in charlotte. he's opened other offices in the state as well. he has spent a ton of money here, millions of dollars on advertisements, this is going to be a real test for him, how he does in north carolina, and as we have seen him do in other states, he has garnered support of mayor of raleigh, and two leaders of the democratic house. he has checked all the boxes a candidate needs to check. we'll see if he's able to pull through today. if you look at these states, california, texas, number one in two. 110 up for grabs in north carolina, and michael bloomberg hoping he can get those in his camp by the end of the day. >> and finally there has been the lot of talk that bloomberg has taken votes away from joe biden amidst the momentum that he is gaining. how much pressure is there from the democratic establishment for bloomberg to step aside? >> immen
