las vegas. a woman is being treated at a hospital after being shot by a family member who's also metro police officer. fox five's abby theodros joins us live from the north las vegas neighborhood where it all happened. north las vegas police were on the case and they say the evidence leads to an accidental shooting. we now know the injured woman lived with the off duty officer and her husband and has access to the home. but apparently the couple wasnt expecting her that night. they were sleeping and heard a noise which prompted them to go down stairs and fire their guns. police say the woman was shot at least twice. some neighbors in the area say it was likely an accident while others belive the story doesnt add up.
