unlike the last couple weeks a weather system is approaching the northern california coach but it willth of the north bay with cooling on tuesday and the high pressure builds in on thursday and friday. starting to see the temperatures come on up. monday morning, maybe mist on the coast as the system goes by adding a lift to the low clouds. but during the day nothing sub substantial in terms of showers. the showers stay to the north on tuesday and the temperatures climb up, thursday, friday, and saturday. we should wake up to patchy low clouds through the day. what you will notice is high clouds drifting by. if you are heading to the coast, partly cloudy skies and 60 on monday afternoon. mid- to upper-60s in the inner bay and low 70s the rest of the bay area on monday afternoon. the afternoon highs in the low 70s around the santa clara valley. close to 70 around pleasanton. and around the north bay numbers mostly in the 60s but as the winds turn out of the north on thursday and friday the temperatures come up. first half of the week mild with a brief cooler. the second half of the week

bringing rain to oregon and washington and northern california for the past couple of days.or three days in northern california they have been looking at on and off shower activity. the system has been stalled out but now it's going to start to move this way. tomorrow the north bay, you'll see rain chances increase for the afternoon hours. then for the overnight hours that front gets closer so the showers start to spread inland towards monday night into tuesday. this computer modeling gets us through wednesday. that will be the first system that heads this way. the rain amounts of heavier across the north bay. we could see 1 inch or more through wednesday but the totals really fall off once you get down to the peninsula or south bay, only expecting to see a half inch or more than that. that would be the first system. another system is heading our way later in the week, thursday into friday and will probably offer another inch or two of rainfall. >> we're at 44 in santa rosa, redwood 44, almaden at 47 degrees. not as cold but tomorrow afternoon we're not going to warm a whole
