the state website shows current reservoir levels in northern california well below capacity and historic averages, and that could have a big impact on bay area water district's what a typical year. the state water project with supply about 40% of our overall demand. robert shaver, general manager of alameda county's water district, says the state plans to cut their allocations to just 5% forcing many district's to find other sources. we know that the reality is that we're going to see. longer droughts with climate change. we see more severe droughts. matt keller, a spokesman for the santa clara valley water district, says. fortunately many customers have reduced their usage after years of drought, and the district is investing in more infrastructure. we're using 20% less water than we were using in 2013. that's huge for our water stores that currently our goal is to have 10% of our water supply and santa clara county come from recycled water, advanced purified water so that water would be local. we control it, it would be drought. resilient many districts are urging people to take steps

sutter health says that they're canceling 90002nd dose appointments across northern california. because of issues with supply center says that people who have appointments through march 9th will need to reschedule for later date center also says that, according to cdc guidelines, second doses can be given out up to six weeks after the first dose. in a statement, a spokesperson for sutter health said. we have been urgently requesting the additional allocations we need from the state in order to prevent canceling the more than 90002nd dose vaccination appointments that are currently on our books. this is an extremely unfortunate situation for our patients and one that is avoidable if we can get additional vaccine supply. today three more bay area counties moved into the less restrictive red tear this kind. says the number of covid cases continues to drop. those counties are san francisco napa and santa clara. it means indoor dining, indoor gyms and some other activities can resume at limited capacity, county health officials and city leaders say. it appears we are making progress
