have air quality issues, had is the likely source, high pressure kind of centered right over northern california in the bay area. it will trend a little stronger towards thursday. then we are hopeful it will back off just far enough to allow for a chance of seeing some rain or showers move down into northern california. so for now the best chance we may begin to see, any rain chances in the extended forecast, you might have to wait until about next monday. but stay tuned on this. some recent model runs have pushed more of this inland, which could involve gusty winds. so keep an eye on that forecast. we know we are on cruise control for the next seven days. not much change. mid to 60s in san francisco. we are already into december. look at the temperatures, it is not going to feel like it. 70s for most of the valley for the middle part of the week. next weekend trending dry, and towards the ten-day forecast is where things get interesting. we will continue to fine tune that part of the forecast as we get towards next weekend. this weekend ending with a few areas climbing into the mid 70s. back to

well, here's your storm system working its way on shore most that rain for northern california. few scattered showers popping up around the bay area. most that is very, very light seeing some amounts moving into the south bay right now. just light amounts of showers rotating on through there at the moment. they're still more off the coastline and more to come in fact, we've got the bigger brands that's about to move on shore in the northern california that will begin to sag to the south overnight tonight throughout the rest, the bay area. so yeah, things are going to stay a little bit unsettled tonight but not a big storm by any means. we're talking a few hundreds of an inch of rain tomorrow you see a lot of clouds. a few scattered showers, maybe in the morning. then this week in return to more sunshine and some warm weather is a dry pattern kind of sets itself up with this front going to slowly work its way in the bay area just come to kind of fall apart as it comes through leave behind a lot of moisture in the atmosphere. so you have few scattered showers. but i think tomorrow

earlier forecast suggested that northern california might seem more moisture this winter. but today's predictions show that long dina will bring heavy downpours to oregon and washington. and drier than normal conditions here in california. and a lot in your pattern is so complex because yes, that is the area that gets up the bulk of the rainfall up in the pacific northwest, but you can't get these variable jet streams that can usher in significant rainfall. so we're waiting for that. and some of the forecast models suggesting that might be happening as we head into early december. we'll see what happens, but at least for the short term forecast into your friday morning, we are not expecting much in the way of rainfall at all. you could see the coastal hills in the north bay could be approaching a quarter of an inch, but the south bay maybe a few sprinkles just trace amounts, or that point to at the very most. here's the forecast models you can see. as we put this into motion. you will see in two way your friday morning the shower activity favoring the north bay by the time
