watching the storm erupt over the last six hours over central and northern virginia.band staying on the west side but probably will be clipping at least portions of the beltway, howard, carroll and maybe even baltimore county over the next couple of hours. we'll continue to watch this as that moist flow continues to come in and we have energy back west that will continue to reach us throughout the day. more storms midday into the afternoon. we pretty much had to keep the chance throughout the entirety of today. it will be an active one. some storms may produce locally heavy downpours and flash flooding, frequent lightning is definitely a possibility with any one of these storms. lasting in through the evening and overnight, we'll have the chance of storms continuing on in through tomorrow as well. we stay very warm and humid with the same general setup lasting into the weekend. today only two degrees below -- sorry, 82 degrees is our two-degree guarantee with strong storms, back to the low 70s with showers and fog overnight. kim? >>> we're off to a quiet start to star
