the flurries already moved through northwest washington and are out of here. the big focus for everybody this afternoon, again is going to be the winds. now winds not strong enough to cause power outages, but you want the warm at 42 in washington, 37 degrees in frederick where there was a bit more snow up there. thanks to everybody on twitter and facebook for sending in your pictures and reports. when you factor in the winds, this is the feels-like temperature and it's feeling about ten degrees cooler than the thermometer would be reading. feeling about 35 in washington, 26 in gaithersburg and a cold 20 degrees back in winchester. so for the rest of today we'll have high temperatures in the low 40s. but again, it's blustery, so it's going to feel like around 4:00, we're in the low to mid 30s. then as we head into the evening hours, the sun goes down. the winds die down. but the skies clear out and it's cold. by 8:00, we're around 37 and find overnight lows in the 20s. all in all, the weather having a low impact on your afternoon travel. all in all looking good
