watch what happens south of new york, new york gets a break but it heads up into nova scotia and brunswick. it is a category two, as we mentioned, that is sustained winds 96-110 miles an hour. the damage will be catastrophic flooding and it is going to kickoff a few tornadoes and that will case extensive damage. we have more weather coming up because there is weather around the country other than that that will be in a few minutes. the good news is it appears people heeded the evacuation orders in foley beach. the normally packed streets is deserted. think of these towns would be bustling. >> a tourist destination for sure. >> the boarded up builds. police have been checking who comes in and out. >> the arizona red cross is deploying more than a dozen damage left behind from hurricane matthew as it moves up the southeast. two volunteers left in an emergency response car. they are driving supplies out to those hit by the hurricane. in all, 16 volunteers are headed to florida. the red cross set up 200 evacuation centers serving 2,000 people. one volunteer says she is glad she is able to help
