and for the north bay. 63 in novato. and 65 in ukiah. dry tomorrow, also into saturday and sunday. make those plans and then into next week, yes. we are still holding onto some rain chances. now, this storm system, ardmittedly is really tricky, the way things are kind of unfolding for us. it's going to sit out here in the pacific, for five days. from wednesday the 22nd, into 1- 7bd the 26th. we're going to see some disturbances move around this. so if it does track more inland, rain totals will be less. but right now, for five-day totals, looking like three- quarters to two and a half inches. cold temperatures only 40s for highs. and one to three feet for sierra snow. i'll continue to watch that. sunshine here in san francisco and low 60s. wind picks up as well next week, as those rain chances increase. 20 to about 40 miles per hour. i showed you guys this in the earlier newscast. but that's 67 on sunday, to 49 on thursday. i don't think anyone needs any more goodness convincing. it's all about the weekend now. >> yeah, it is. and it's a three-day weekend for so many people. >>> up

for the north bay, we're reaching up to about 60 degrees in novato, and then as we go into tonight, another chilly one. we're dipping down into the upper 30s once again, maybe frost in some spots. but just cool mornings and mild afternoons is what we have in store. we could see as we head toward the weekend there will be a slight chance of rain late friday into early saturday. but it does look like that weather system is going to fall apart before it gets here. we're only keeping slight rain chances in the forecast and overall we're heading into dry weather. things may change next week, but we'll have to get a little closer to see. when we run our models out about ten days, it doesn't show much rain for us. less than a quarter inch of rain and most likely just a trace amount of rainfall. even taking it farther out to next week, still looking pretty dry here. as far as the sierra, there may be some additional light snow coming in, maybe another 8 to 12 inches. but i'm taking it all the way past valentine's day. so it's going to be a while before we see anything significant here. once again,
