ness segment and also highlighted the improvements along market street and i want to thank, director nuru, and his staff for joining that leg of the tour and we also had penulosa speaking to a packed audience. and they are obviously were fascinated, i think, with his vision, for streets, as democratic public spaces. and he really made the case, that inasmuch as these are maybe efficiency arguments and that these are really policy statements by cities to demonstrate the kind of places that we want to build as we deal with the climate change and as we deal with the need for more housing and better and safer streets. i finally want to note that this is the week and a designing cities, conference that is being hosted by sfmta in the city here. and i am giving a little bit on the report, and i just want to recognize that the concept that is happening and we have speakers here that will be speaking on the finance, and funding panel. and michael short and his colleagues will be doing a tour of the vrt. director reiskin and his staff have done a great job of an important conference to highlight t
