report yesterday saying assaulted by a man that works as a special needs teacher's assistant for the nye county school district. after investigating...poli ce say this man...28-year-old jose manuel bautista... used social media to have racey conversations with the 17-year- old before taking her to his home. they say that's where he sexually assualted her... and they also say he was on drugs at the time. bautista did admit to detectives that he engaged in sexual misconduct with the student. police searched his home and found evidence to support this...but because the investigation is ongoing... they wouldn't tell us what exactly that evidence is. they were also unable to tell us if the 17-year-old was a student that he worked with specifically. he was arrested and booked into the nye county detention center on five charges including sexual assault, child sexual abuse, unlawful sexual acts by a school employee with a pupil, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. bail was set at 350 thousand dollars. anyone with any information is

this is jose manuel bautista--- he works at the nye county school district. police say the student came forward yesterday... they say bautista used social media to have inappropriate conversations before he took her to his home. bautista did admit to detectives that he engaged in sexual misconduct with the student. he was arrested on numerous charges-- including sexual assault, child sexual abuse, unlawful sexual acts by a school employee with a pupil, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. metro police's abuse and neglect unit are investigating how a five-month-old died this week. police say it happened around 2:30 saturday morning on tropicana...near boulevard. police say the boy was taken to summerlin hospital where he died... as of now-- no arrests have been made. a violent incident at a valley high school is caught on camera.... it happened today at canyon springs high school.... someone was rolling as students and adults were yelling at one another... and then wrestled to the ground. fox5's ada
