oakland raiders fans are pleading with team owner mark davis. to keep the team in oakland. this comes, after the raiders and chargers bought land at a potential stadium site in carson. about 20- miles south of l-a. davis says, he wants to keep the team in oakland. but says he needs to have an alternate plan. if talks with the city and county do not pan out. the raiders carson city land deal sparked a reaction from oakland politicians. with the raider's taking a significant step today. toward a possible move to the los angeles area. oakland mayor libby schaaf says she believes the recent deal the raiders made. is merely a back- up plan. and she is still optimistic that the city can keep the raiders in the bay area. >>:we respect that the raiders are trying to have a backup plan. they are trying to position themselves strongly for negotiation with the oakland politicians but even now the coach says-- owner says that his party is keeping them in oakland as it stands now, the mayor is waiting for the project developer to bring the city the latest proposal by sometime next month

this is some of the backup near the oakland coliseum.e saying between 6 and 6:30 they hope to open all lanes. in the meantime tack on an extra 15 minutes or so to your morning drive. it's improved somewhat here even in just the last few minutes. so they may have just reopened at least one of those lanes two lanes are blocked. or you can just use the alternate. eastbound 580 where everything is in the green and northbound traffic looks okay into san leandro even with a wreck reportedly there maybe on the shoulder. here's a look if you are coming down southbound 101, rohnert park expressway we also have an overturn crash. it sounds like the car rolled off the freeway so we are not seeing any delay on the sensors at all. you can see 65 miles per hour. everything is still really quiet there but if tow crews are needed they may have to block a lane causing a backup. we'll let you know if something changes in that area. here's a live look at the bay bridge. it looks bad but this is better than normal. metering lights were turned on around 5:36
