we've arrested more people in oakland than any other city. we'll continue to do that. i'm gonna continue to hold our police feet to the fire to improve their tactics so that we can prevent that type of vandalism. the other thing i'm doing is reaching out to business es and making sure that i really value the business community in oakland. >> oakland has a lot of potential when it comes to that. you talked about the dialogue with the businesses but also if we can go back quickly to what's been going on recently, are you planning on any dialogue with the protesters out there as well as police to kind of address this issue as a hole? it's kind of interkerkted in my -- interconnected in my eyes. do you start a dialogue? how do you go about doing that? >> absolutely. this nation is engaged in a critical conversation about racism and i embrace and i will be an active not just participant in the conversation but really looking for concrete actions to take so that oakland is not just reacting to the problems that have been raised but that we are seein

oakland city council members today are expected to back a new game plan to redevelop the coliseum complex. the new oakland mayor, libby schaaf, is proposing extending the current negotiating agreement with developers. that's to allow time for both the raiders and the a's to pitch proposals to develop that land. a new coliseum city prajict may include at least one new stadium, homes and businesses as well. alameda county supervisors must also agree on the plan. >> the giants meanwhile, expected to introduce us to the team's new outfielder today. >> he signs a one-year deal last week. most recently played for the kansas city royals playing in the outfield during the world series. giants broadcaster mike kruko described ayolky as a guy who can put the bat on the ball and add to rallies. >> and speaking of the world series the three giants world championship trophies yes, three of them wim tour today, and they'll be in vallejo so people can take pictures. the viewing starts at 4:00 and you can take a picture with the trophy. tomorrow morning, the trophies will be loaded onto a plane and go to
