written comprehensive report containing the december statistics and on march 11 i will provide you the occ annual report for 2014. this evening i will give a snapshot of 2014 of the occ received 727 complaints in 2014 and the same number we received in 2013. we closed 705 complaints. we sustained 58 complaints in 2014, 35% increase over the sustained complaints in 2013. the sustained rate 8% compared to the rate in 2013. both the average and median sustained rate over 20 years through this time is 22%. we mediated 50 cases compared to 59 mediated cases a year before. in 2014 94% of officers agreed to mediate. that's a high acceptance rate and complainants did that also and higher than the past. the mediation rate in 2014 was 7% and that concludes my report for this evening. >> thank you. any questions for director hicks? no. inspector please call the next line item. >> reports commission and discussion and president's report and commissioner's report. >> thank you colleagues. it has been some time since we were together. i do want to provide one update which is we are going to adjourn. i'm
