rob, how are the conditions right now at ocean beach? >> well, we've been watching those temperatures during the day and also the sign behind advising rip currents being a possibility on ocean beach. on days like this, warm temperatures around midday climb noog the 70s out there with mostly sunny skies, generally good visibility, the wave heights 6 to 10 feet and water temperatures in the low 50s. those are rough conditions, sometimes larger waves coming in, could easily get knocked down by sneaker waves at times. we're seeing wave heights holding steady 6 to 10 feet and during the day tomorrow we probably won't have issues with fog along the coast as the winds turn strongly offshore during the day tomorrow. so again, the ocean temperature is in the low 50s, but our daytime temperatures as early as noon tomorrow drawing more people out to the coast, 80 degrees as early as midday tomorrow. we'll talk more about some near records on the way for your sunday forecast coming up in a few minutes. >> rob, thanks very much. >>> breaking news in

ken is off tonight >>> a desperate search for two missing teens in ocean beach has come up 'em tim the pair went into the water with three other boys in what was a beautiful and crowded day at the beach. monty has the update four. >> reporter: just about 90 minutes ago, the coast guard called off the search for those two teen boys because of the darkness and family members arrived here at the beach about 8:00, understandably devastated by what happened. san francisco fire says that this was group of five teenage boys from vallejo, three 18- year-olds and two 17-year-olds. they went into waist deep water, logging arms because at least two of them could not swim. the rip currents and surf he very strong here and the current changed while the boys were in the water and at that point, all five were in dissuppress. the three 18-year-olds were able to make it back to shore but the two 17-year-old were not. they were carried away by the current and disappeared. the coast guard searched an area of six miles by three miles by helicopter and sea without being able to locate them. >> i already ta

: ocean beach has signs with mornings like this one right here behind me. and in several different languages about the dangers rip currents, and it says that people swimming have drowned, and one san francisco supervisor is concerned that not enough people are getting the message. showing you this view of the ocean beach, and looks calm and peaceful, but the rip currents along the shoreline, and the sneaker waves can be dangerous. the supervisor says he wants to improve the safety monitoring at the ocean beach and education efforts to make the beachgoers more aware of the dangerous conditions. this comes after a series of rescues over the past week, and on saturday, two vallejo teenagers were swept out to sea, and their bodies have not been found. they are believed to have been drowned. a surfer had to be rescued after being caught by the writ current and is expected to be okay. we will speak to the supervisor about the safety measures, and what exactly the details will entail, and the timeline for getting it implemented. >>> the time is 5:04 am. >>> the sa
