disappointing news for old navy and revenues down six percent from last year. last month gap posted the 12th consecutive decline and worse than analysts expected. uber will pay a 10 million- dollar settlement for a lawsuit over its background checks and airport fees. san francisco attorney george gascon says it send a clear message to all businesses and to startups in particular that in the quest to quickly obtain market share, laws designed to protect consumers can't be ignored. if uber does not comply with the terms of the settlement it will have to pay an additional 15 million-dollars, that money will be split between san francisco and los angeles, the two counties that filed the suit. in another court battle between lyft and it's drivers. there was a bid that was rejected. verizon is set to made a bid for yahoo's business. the lead bidder for all or part of yahoo. other companies interested in making a bid. silicon neighbor google and time incorporated and at&t. it comes as shareholders at yahoo threaten to overthrow the board of directors and melissa wild.
