usually there is only one bore open eastbound 24 heading out of oakland towards orinda so we are not sure if it's in the tunnel or right before it but at least one lane is blocked. westbound 24 looks good. traffic overall is lighter than typical because it the start to a long holiday weekend and we think people are heading out of town or taking an even longer holiday weekend taking today off. the great highway is shut down again several days in a row now. they have been doing sand removal between lincoln way and sloat boulevard so northbound and southbound on the great highway shut down. eastbound 580 this morning still have the roadwork in lanes from north greenville to north flynn until 6:00 but we're not seeing too much slowing. definitely better than usual once again coming through the amounts amounts. mass transit is on time. we'll show you live traffic cameras. 880 at 66th. everything is still flowing nicely near the oakland coliseum. there was overnight roadwork approaching hegenberger earlier but that's all picked up. so if you are heading towards oakland airport no delay and

the back up is up to orinda and to the highway 24/680 interchange. delays all over the east bay.inutes from hercules to berkeley. we are also seen the light conditions coming off of 242 heading to southbound 680. that is continuing through the san ramon valley. we do not have any accidents incidents to report but we have our fair share of slow and go conditions. also backed up in the south bay north bound 101 is a better ride and interstate 280. checking the bridges. delays of the store freeway that is where traffic is tied up. we are looking good at the bay bridge toll plaza. no delays from the 80 nimitz approach. interstate 80 traffic looking good. the meter lights are active. we are seeing better conditions up the incline and across the upper deck. we are problem free of the san mateo bridge. the seven clock hour traffic was on the right- hand side relatively steady. it is loosening up as you work your way toward foster city. >> last but not least, a live look at the golden gate bridge. the problem or delays. we have a little bit of slow and go traffic coming out of navato . p

westbound highway 24 is a slow roll from before orinda coming out of lafayette westbound.ring from major delays. they will be with them probably through the rest of the commute. your best bet is to get separate transportation if you're headed towards san francisco. another hot spot we have been tracking is the 1 01 right out of san francisco. to early are occurring southbound accidents and jammed up the traffic here. take a look the other ride coming out of the city. still sluggish and slow on the inbound freeway all the way from the expressway and beat skyways flows from the ninth street off ramp as you head south as you head for the 280 interchange. the bay bridge ride is backed up, 18 to 20 minutes drivees the east shore freeway and the macarthur maze. >> storm tracker 4 the green indicates where we are potentially seeing some light showers. we are being met with mostly cloudy conditions that are proceeding through the bay area right now. the jazz for the wet weather will diminish into the afternoon. the highs, 60s and low seventies for most of us. 7 day around the bay
