you can see it's drying up rapidly in orinda. we have cloud cover in san jose as we look towards levi's stadium. we'll keep an eye on the possibility of any kind of airport delays. numbers are in the 50s. winds are relatively calm. we have an area of low pressure winding up off the coast and with the precipitation counter clockwise around that core of the center of the area of low pressure, we'll see just some bands of light rain showers on the possibility of an isolated thunderstorm then this area of low pressure goes southeast and that will be out of here by friday. then we have to remember that we have another area of low pressure upstream that promises to bring us at least a good chance of rain monday. futurecast, look at the precipitation in the area at lunchtime. primarily around the tri-valley lifting up in a northeast fashion. hopefully these computer models are a little off. 71 degrees at the state capital. we are talking about 6" of snow in the highest elevations. we'll check with liz to see if there are chain requireme
