p.a. suburbs, lehigh valley, mercer county new jersey, some parts of that county had five to six inches of rain saturday night. the first alert is through this evening for the thunderstorms and the potential for some localized flash flooding. right now, we have a few showers down in extreme south jersey. not moving very fast. not especially heavy. but it's a sign that we don't have much wind in the atmosphere to move these storms along. so they're not going to be moving very quickly this afternoon when they develop. just a couple of isolated ones way out by burkes county. the temperature only going up slowly because of all the cloud cover. that's delaying the development of these thunderstorms. it doesn't mean they're not going to happen. we just have to wait a couple of hours extra for some of these showers and storms to form. but by 2:00, they're starting to pop up. temperatures into the mid 80s, but with a high humidity, it will feel like it's more like 90 or 92. and then the thundersto
