speaking of what's going on in north lake tahoe, palisades ski resort says it received almost 6 feet of new snow in the past 7 days. more than 35 inches of it fell overnight marking the 6th largest snowfall total over 24 hours ever on the mountain tahoe traveled ski industry expert kevin coop told us many ski resorts lost power during the storm over the weekend and some of them still don't have power restored. >> definitely some challenges as the snow starts to pick it up. but for the mountain teams, what they able to do is distributed around. that's how they're going to get those extra reds up. but so if you are coming up, the resorts, they've got all the abbey mitigation, everything's ready for you to go. now, if you're going to go into the back country, that's a different deal. know before you go use this year avalanche center as a reference die before you go out there. it was high yesterday. considerable today probably be anywhere between considerable and moderate tomorrow. but you need to read those observations. cook also told us during kron 4 news at 3 o'clock today that many
