good evening everybody, i am pam moore.fer was near by and managed to pull that man to safety. kron 4 news is live at the beach tonight with more on this rescue. jr. >> reporter: the good news ammunition everyone is okay. you see those two rocks behind e , the man got lost in between those two rocks and firefighters that i talked to said it was a clear message to those t that are not used to swimming in this water. >> don't get in the water. it is mosacherous. enjoy the beach and the sun and stay out the the water. >> reporter: this gives you an idea how crowded this beach was. you see all the people here and you also see all these emergency crews and park rangers tell me a 22-year-old man was with his girlfriend, he went deeper and that's when he got caught in a rip current and he got caught pretty far but fortunately there was a sufferer near by that helped him. they went looking for him when they realized that he was on shore. they told the life guards to come back. those life guards had a hard time get lg back to shore.
