we'll start with pamela osborne live near the scene of the crash. pamela, give us an update? >> reporter: vai, this is certainly an area you want to avoid if you're headed out your door this morning. take a look, they're just starting to hook the fire truck up there. all of the southbound lanes of 95 are closed right now because of this. this startered with one minor two-car accident. it ended up in a huge crashing and now a backup. this video you're looking at you're only going to see on nbc10. that's because our photographer pete cane watched this accident happen from his rear view mirror. here's what happened, that ladder 16 fire truck was pulled over in the far left lane of 95. there was a minor accident they were responding to. a tractor trailer traveled across the road and hit into that fire truck. five firefighters were injured. they were transported to hahnemann hospital. we're told by fire officials they have nonlife threatening injuries. the driver of the truck was also transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. he was transported to jefferson h

we'll start with nbc10, pamela osborne live at the scene in old city. pamela, give us an update? >> reporter: vai, it started with a minor accident and ends up with a major crash here on the southbound lanes. take a look, police are blocking off the southbound lanes. if you look down there, you'll see one of our news photographers, he watched this accident unfold this morning and was able to get some pretty incredible video of the crash you'll see only on nbc10. the ladder 16 fire truck, we know, was pulled over on the far left lane. there was a finer accident there. a vehicle accident they were responding to. the tractser trailer hit into that fire truck. five firefighters were injured. they were transported to hahnemann hospital. we're told by fire officials they have nonlife-threatening injuries. the driver of the truck was also reported as nonlife-threatening injuries. he's reporting at jefferson. a tow truck driver just arrived on the scene a short time ago. but on the underside of this underpass is where that tractor trailer is r

pamela? >> well, tracy, he tells us that this church has been in his family for about a decade now but the church itself has stood here for 120 years. you can begin to imagine how devastating this is for them and people in this community. take a look you can see the family has been working to board up and secure the church throughout this morning. when you take a look at the outside, it's really hard to tell that just a couple hours ago this was a two-alarm fire. that's because the most significant damage happened in the basement of the temple of praise ministries. this is right on river road. we talked to the chief when we got here to the scene. he tells us the fire began in the basement. firefighters were able to save the church itself. you can see the ruin inside, water damage, smoke damage, fire damage as well. the carpet, chairs and much of the basement looking like a loss. we talked to the past every's grandson as well. he tells us this basement was a huge part of this church. on many s
