she has been monitoring hurricane patricia all morning. >> it is so intense. frightening to think what they're going through. ironically. 77 degrees. and still a light breeze. if i move in closer, we'll take a look. 85 miles off of the coast where patricia is a sustained wind still at 200 miles an hour, moving north at 12 miles an hour and is expected to make landfall a little later this afternoon right around 3, 4, maybe 5:00 in the afternoon. now, this projected path actually has patricia weakening a little bit but still going to pack an amazing punch. we're looking at anywhere from five to 10 to 12 inches of rain, even 20 to 25 for some of those hills and some of those water spots. we're looking at waves at about 30 feet. so, it is a lot of flooding, major, major destruction expected with this storm and as it moves inland. it will continue to weaken. it will impact portions the u.s. and we'll track that further down the road. but again, for today, the headline is definitely patricia making land or coming a shore at any time in the afternoon. looks like stil
