down around patuxent river. 71 degrees and patuxent river down in southern maryland.have 57 in westminster. 61 in bel air. you know, the water temperature has gone up a few degrees over the last few days or so. we're now at just around 46 degrees, as your water temperature. so there's no drastic hit, depending on the difference -- or depending on the direction of the winds, across the land, down around the edge of the water. so even though the waters are cool, temperatures around annapolis, still very cool. we have a west/northwest wind. some of these cool down as they come from the west. and even with this northwest flow, we still have temperatures reflecting a bit of a warmup. and even though our temperatures up around the great lakes and up near the northwest, are really cooler than we are, we're really not seeing a very drastic change. and again, a lot of that is because the air is coming down the mountain and it is not really impacted by the colder temperatures up near the northwest. now, there is definitely lake- effect snow, up around our neighbors to the north

right now of temperatures 0 at dulles. 62 patuxent river. 68 in dover. 67 in hagerstown. winds are from the south, southeast. for the most part it will be a steady flow out of the south keeping things warm. so far we don't have the humidity but we think the humidity will increase as we work into the day tomorrow. that will help a couple of thunderstorms. right now we don't have much thunderstorm action to the west. as this line centers over hoyer state, temperatures shoot up to the mid-70s. we are certainly in a very warm air flow, and there is going to continue even after that line of showers potentially moves through the day tomorrow. we still stay warm. this is not going to be a true cold front passage until at least the end of the week. take a look at the trend here. timing wise any precipitation should wait until morning. a few hit and mills showers. the better chance is we'll stop at 6:00 picking up with the inhouse computer model an a line of showers, thunder showers, so we will be watching for that tomorrow afternoon but for now it will be quiet. overnight 52, inc

yesterday we're a few degrees above 70, similar weather. 68 in baltimore. 70 in easton. 65 in patuxent river. what wind we do have is light. at times that can be a slightly cooler breeze but with the humidity so high, not even noticing that very, very slight breeze. highs struggling up above 70 in the inner harbor. most spots having a tough time getting out of the 60s. upper 70s near 80. right across maryland, southern new jersey, stuck in the 60s for the most part. that is because of that lifted fog that really turned into a tough cloud deck. you can see it on the visible satellite photos. those clouds where they held tough, maryland, southeast pa, jersey, that's where we had a tough time. one change -- you see this clear area over ohio. that will move over the mid-atlantic briefly into tomorrow, late afternoon and friday that could allow temperatures to climb somewhat. we could push 80 toward the end of the week before our weekend weather maker arrives. this is crawling at a snail's pace triggering flooding in arkansas, mississippi. that same system we will continue to track it very,
