steve paulson is checking out your forecast for the next couple of days. >>> changes for the weekend, today is the fog. >> there's a lot of fog out this. >>> a lot of fog out there. be careful. 50s mainly. a few 40s but 50s out this. it will lift sooner today. there's a little northern background in sacramento valley and right there, that's going to take care of some of that fog later. a lot of high clouds in southern california, and changes in the sierra in a big way. for us visibility is a big story here about a quarter of a mile for some. 3/4s for others for two. napa and fairfield, 2.5, 50s, i doubt these changes much at all. most locations say cloudy, there are some of the higher elevations, they've warmed up and high pressure building in for a day and that should take care of the fog. it's the cold, the very cold temperatures, down to florida. tampa is 32, it's 16 below the wind chill in pittsburgh, 17 below in cleveland, and new york city 14 below, philadelphia 14 below, those are the wind chills. we're waiting for a change and more on the north, i'll explain the weekend change

we look to john paulson, whose success is defined by the subprime problem -- crisis, many of them areer the last five years. where are your peers? >> many of them have done well for dedicated mortgage guys with adapted with the times. within that, there were different sectors to be played. it was not just subprime it was looking at prime, commercial mortgage backed securities. traffic in the securities, you need to build a lot of infrastructure. the short trade world played very easily. you come in short the market in size and it works. >> many nonmortgage experts one big in that trade? >> exactly. >> it was not easy to figure out how to short the market -- mortgage market. >> you just needed greg litman. >> you needed the index. >>you needed that adx index. >> there was a machine on the other side that was willing to take that trade. that is a one-time trade were your betting on housing collapse. you have to go for security selection. that requires a fair amount of infrastructure. >> blackstone has become the largest owner of single-family homes in terms of rentals. are you investors

paulson? >> know he is not. >> mr. secretary i would like to discuss a couple of issues with you that i hear about when i go back home with a town hall meeting. in reading of the cbo projection of budget and economic outlook through 2024 it appears we will end 2014 with $492 billion deficit. then of the al less than that in 2015 but 22 through 24 we will be back at $1 trillion per year deficits. this is very upsetting to the people that i represent all of us on this panel. does this budget the president has prepared change that trajectory of the debt? with the size of government? does it do anything to return us to a balanced budget or does it end up being back at trillion dollars per year? >> looking at a percentage of gdp read ends up the economy is growing and it is a larger number but to make progress said maine taken the progress. >> the goal of the administration and the treasury is not to balance the budget or diminish the debt we already have but to maintain a percentage of gdp? >> our goal is to grow the econo
