you could hear them smashing onto the pavement. at one point, the crowd started to surge toward police and that's when police went in with the pepper spray. we know pepper spray was deployed. and in this one particular protestor, we know he was hit and was lying down on the ground. you're seeing that video. he was taken into custody, but he was moaning, they were pouring water over his face. it hurts a lot when you get hit with pepper spray. so i'm sure his eyes were burning, they were pouring water over him and literally dragged him across the street and placed him over here in an area where they were putting other protestors as well. they did tend to him for several minutes over here. and then he was eventually put on a stretcher and then taken to a local hospital. we can tell you that there were several people who were taken into custody here tonight. we don't know if they were involved in any other criminal activity in the bottle throwing or anything like that but we know they were out here past the curfew and police have told
