there's peco crews out here. what happened was a car hit a utility pole and also flipped over in this intersection of germantown pike. and because of that utility pole being hit, you can see the low hanging wires and the utility pole leaning. so peco has to go in and fix that. that is taking so long to repair the wires. germantown pike one westbound lane is open on the eastbound side. both eastbound lanes are open. so you can get by but because there's a heavy presence of peco crews, it is going to take some time. this stretch, the peco crews are on germantown pike near pleasant road. on the maps you can see a slowdown out there as the morning rush continues. the delays will worsen. so crews are detouring people onto hallow well road to get around that just because of all the peco crews out there. i'm watching another crash also in montgomery county. this is in upper moreland near shoemaker road. take a look at interstate 95 looking pretty good right now up. this is not a lot of volume so we are not seeing too ma

and so these peco crews have to be out there repairing it.t's why they are blocking a portion of this car going around the peco work crews. so in order to get around it i want to walk you through where the road closure is between hallow well road pleantsant road. you can see the car trying to get by here westbound and two eastbound lanes open. that's oncoming traffic we saw in the live picture. peco is closing a lane in each direction as they try to repair the hole. i expect that to be out there for quite some time. be aware it's going to slow you down if that is part of the commute. especially as we head into the morning commute. that road gets busy out there. take a look at drive times on the blue route from 95 to 76 we are all green out here. 15 minutes. that's about average. so no major volume delays or backups out there. interstate 76 is near montgomery drive. not a lot of volume with no major problems except for in plymouth township. mass transit this morning, everything is on or close to schedule. >>> good morning. heading into your fr

. >>> and peco customers listen up. a rate hike could be in your future. how much more you can expect to pay. that's next on "nbc10 news" at 5:00. of a prominent new jersey couple a murder/suicide. today their family's disputing that report. cooper hospital john sheridan and his wife joyce were found dead in their new jersey home in september. >> exactly how they died has been a mystery until today. the prosecutor's office released the report this afternoon. joyce sheridan had eight stab wounds to her sxhaed a fatal wound to the heart. she had defensive cuts to her hands. detectives recovered two kitchen knives. police believe john sheridan stabbed his wife and then cut himself in the neck and torso. they believe he set the bedroom on fire and pulled a large armoire onto himself, crushing his ribs but say he was alive at the time the fire was set. friends and coworkers say in the days before the deaths john sheridan was acting upset, withdrawn and overly worried. the sheridan family released a statement disputing the findings. they say quote, this conclusi
