closing arguments are under way in the murder case against maple shade burlington county resident pedro hernandezed of killing six-year-old etan pats back in 1979. hernandez allegedly confessed to police saying he strangled the little boy in a convenience store basement. the defense says that confession is not credible. the boy's body has never been found but his disappearance led to the nationwide campaign to put missing children's pictures on milk cartons. >>> we have an update tonight to a story "action news" first told you about about a week and a half ago. authorities say they arrested a man in connection with an attempted murder in wilmington. this is a story our delaware news room has been following. the suspect is 27-year-old thomas rivers. detectives say rivers was wanted for a shooting back on april 3rd at 7th and west streets. the victim suffered serious injuries to his head, chest and face. wilmington police officers stopped rivers last week on a traffic violation and then arrested him. he's being held on $600,000 bail. >> the late he have on the deadly police shooting in south caroli
