what weather continues of the peninsula. we have san mateo, redwood city, all under light rain to moderate rain right now. sfo is right there and it's raining actively at the airport. also in downtown san francisco. here is the wider view and long train of intense rain falling. between san rafael and santa rosa we have pockets coming under heavier showers. keep that in mind if that is part of your morning commute. it looks like it will stay that way for a while longer. we have a lot of moisture. here's what you can expect. rain, steady through noon. then it breaks up. it could get heavy at times. wind will blow but not terribly strong. gusts up to 35 miles per hour at times. the flooding could be an issue, not so much for rivers and streams but the urban areas. places where the storm dreams -- drains collect leaves and that can cause intersections to have standing water. and of course the mudslides were watching for in the burned areas. but mainly in the north bay where we had some earlier wildfires the left the earth baron
