in conshohocken at the blue route, 476, northbound lanes right here heading up toward the pennsylvania turnpike the northbound northeast extension there was a crash overnight near lansdale but that's now gone. and this is a look at the turnpike itself over top route 100 here in uwchlan township. this is the turnpike right here and at this point all these highways are just wet. once you get to the shoulders definitely the grassy surfaces you are seeing some snow but the main lanes of the highway are just wet. same is true here in south philadelphia along i-95. you might recognize the big utz tow potato chip sign. the lanes of 95 are passable but just wet but you have to keep those speeds down and as the day progresses we expect those roads to become snow covered. right now that's not the case. problems continue in pennsauken. pretty big problems with downed wires blocking 73 southbound at 130 coming off the tacony-palmyra bridge northbound just one lane barely squeezes by. in brooklawn you have more flooding this morning along 130 so just one lane getting by in each direction there by the brookl

we're on the westbound pennsylvania turnpike. and the road conditions have dramatically improved.out 10 minutes ago, we were on the transition from i-95 south to the pennsylvania turnpike. and it was like driving on a road full of potholes. the road had completely frozen. and it was so uneven, it was like driving on a potholed road. you can see there is this penndot and turnpike snowplow doing its work right in front of us. we've seen those up and down the turnpike. it's good that the traffic is so light. because these plows, they're able to break up that ice on the roadway and push it out of the way, keeping the road clear. but we are starting to see some freezing. still, those speed restrictions, just 45 miles per hour on our major interstates, i-95, 76, 476, and of course the turn pipes, guys. >> good to see the crews getting out there. and we want to make a note too. when you look at the picture, it seems the crew is moving a lot faster. the wide angle lens has that effect. >> and notice that our truck is keeping a nice distance between itself and the work crews. you should do
