santa rosa and petaluma we see more readings coming in at less than one mile. it makes sense when you look at the numbers, look at that big of 32 that stands out for livermore, 32 in the tri- valley, and 30 at santa rosa which is quite cold. 29 the latest report from the sonoma county airport. and as you would expect with temperatures that cold, all we have to do is overlay the visibility on top of this, and that is where we have trouble spots. petaluma down to one mile, santa rosa down to 1.7 miles in terms of how far you can see down the road. 10 mile visibility about everywhere else. okay for the majority of us one thing to watch on the futurecast is a detailed overview on how long it takes this stuff to disappear. keep your eye on a patch of clouds filling in the valley of sonoma county, just as you get to the marin county and sonoma county line, also the clouds for the central valley. it takes until about 11:00, and then by late morning the skies clear out and it looks better bay area wide. after a beautifully blue sky day with the typically winter haze, a
